{LOVE} Picture Frame

As I have stated previously, I am on a mission to make a ton of picture frames. I meant it. I’m really liking the idea of putting out seasonal frames with pictures from past holidays and such. I love pictures so why shouldn’t they be part of my seasonal decor?
I took step by step pictures of how I did this one. Follow along if you are new to this sort of thing, if not you can jump to the end result!
I started out with a picture frame and wooden letters that spelled out LOVE.
I selected some scrapbook paper to cover the front of the picture frame and cut it to fit. I painted all the edges and any parts that might show with craft paint.
Once the paint was dry I used Mod Podge to attach the scrapbook paper to the front of the frame. I made sure it was smoothed out and there were no bubbles. I let this dry completely.

Once the Mod Podge was dry I sanded off the overhanging paper.
While waiting for the frame to dry I painted my letters red.
I then added a layer of Mod Podge over the letters and the entire picture frame, covering the paper and all of the painted parts as well. The Mod Podge serves as a great sealer to your project. Let everything dry.
Once I added another layer of Mod Podge and let that dry, I glued the letters to the frame.
There you have it, a super cute boutique style picture frame! Please excuse the generic photo insert, I will be adding a picture of me and my hubby as soon as I can get it printed!
It turned out really good and I am beginning to perfect the process. Learning all the little tricks as I go along. I would even say I LOVE it! : )
