My Valentine Mantle

So Christmas is officially over now and put away. The house looks so bare and lonely. The good news is, it’s on to Valentines day! I love, love! So first thing I needed to do was get my mantle decorated.

I finally made a sheet music wreath!! It’s been on my “to do” list for awhile now, I think it turned out pretty good! I did two layers of sheet music cones and tied it to an empty picture frame with some cream ribbon.

I stuck with black, white, and pink for my colors. There’s just something very soothing, beautiful, and romantic about these colors together for me. I imagine the sheet music is covered with sweet love songs.

I love angels! I bought these two little angels at Michael’s last year sometime and I love them!
Finished things off with some pretty pink flowers and a cute box. “Love. Two hearts. One love” Sappy I know, what can I say? I love, love!!!

So now I’m off to work on some more V-day projects!!!

Linking up to these great link parties!!!

  1. Looks great. I love that box, at first I thought it was a plaque or wood block. Great job on the wreath. I have yet to make one. I’m waiting until after the long weekend before I pull out my V-day decor.

  2. Nice job! Thanks for the inspiration:)

  3. Looks great. How did you do the sheet music? I’m musical by nature (piano, clarinet) & I’ve thought about doing something w/ my childhood sheet music. I didn’t poke around the blog to see if you shared how, if so, just send me in the right direction! =) Long weekend!? What long weekend?? MLK?

  10. Very clever to use sheet music. That would be so perfect for music teacher’s gift or just to hang over your piano. I made a book page wreath that I hung over my desk:) Your site is super-cute, by the way. I’m going to follow you. Come check me out and follow me, too, if you like my stuff:)
