Family Hanging Plaques

So obviously Valentines day has passed and all the love inspired decorations have been put away. All except my Hanging Valentine Plaques. I wanted to make some more but I couldn’t decide what I wanted the new plaques to say. Finally, I decided to keep it neutral for now and go with “FAMILY”.
I picked different black and white scrapbook papers to apply to the front of the plaques. I used the same technique as I did with the Valentine plaques.
By using the monochromatic and neutral colors they will go with just about any decor I throw at them. Right now, of course, they are hanging underneath my Spring mantle.

By adding the Velcro snaps to the back I was able to easily remove the Valentine’s plaques and store them away until next year. I’ll probably do some more “holiday” themed ones in the future, but for now I’m loving my “family” plaques!

  3. @ Cabubsmom: I took a 1 x 3.5 from Home Depot and cut it down to different heights.
