{Magnetic Chalkboard} Mega Post

Since I found myself with an abundance of cool picture frames on hand, I figured it was time to start doing something with them. You may remember some of these thrifted frames from Thrifty Thursdays past.
I bought some sheet metal from Home Depot and my handsome hubby helped me cut them to size with our tin snips.
I used a sponge roller to apply the chalkboard paint to the sheet metal. I did two coats of DecoArt’s Chalkboard Paint.
I used Krylon’s Peekaboo Blue on this one. Isn’t it beautiful? Look at that detailing!
I took the other frame that’s in the above “before” picture and used Rustoleum’s Summer Squash. It’s so bright and happy!

I love the yellow against the black chalkboard! Again, check out those details!
I didn’t get a before picture of this one {gasp}, but it was shinny gold before it’s makeover. Now it’s painted with the beautiful Heirloom White by Rustoleum!
I had so much fun with these, it was nice to use some fun colors! The blue one ALREADY sold!!! The other two will be listed in my Etsy shop soon! Oh how I’d like to keep them, but how many chalkboards does one girl need?
