Thrifty Thursday #5

I don’t know if I’ve ever been able to convey my love for thrifting? It really has become a favorite pastime and hobby of mine. If I am unable to go thrifting for a period of time I actually wonder if I’m missing out on any really great finds! I dunno, that might border on obsessive! Ah well, at least I’m getting good deals along the way!
I found this table and almost passed it up. I sometimes want to avoid overloading my hubby, “Hey hunny! Guess who bought another piece of furniture!”. My family makes fun of me for all the furniture that has flooded in and out of my home since we’ve been married. My mom was the one that actually convinced me to buy it.
It’s made pretty well and the wood has a lot of character. The table would make a great buffet table, sofa table, entry, or console table!
And for $20 how could I say no?
Check out this beauty I found! I’m going to go ahead and assume it came from a bar….or someones home that really loved their beer! It’s a pretty beat up chalkboard, with peeling vinyl and worn out wood! Can’t wait to give this one a makeover!
So that’s what I got! What have you found lately? Any great finds?
