Thrifty Thursday #10

I realize that thrifting can become an illness. I also realize that I probably have this illness. It’s addicting! What can I say? If I haven’t been thrifting in awhile I start wondering about all the fabulous things that I’m missing out on. I’m finding it hard to pay retail prices for things I see in stores. Yep, I’m sick!
I’m so sick that while driving through the middle of town I see this wood table at a garage sale. Of course I had to stop and check it out. I know, but for $15 I’m glad that I stopped!
I also found some awesome old wood crates. I love the aged wood and nostalgia of them!
I also found some great silver pieces.

Oh and some more sheet music!!!

So what have you found lately???

Linking up to these great link parties!

  1. Great finds! I too spend my lunch break or free time cruising yard sales and goodwill for “treasures.” Can’t wait to see what you do with the table and sheet music! Fun, fun!

  2. Oh, wow, what beautiful finds! I know you will do amazing things with them, but the silver and crates are beautiful just as they are, too. Very fun!

My finds have run dry recently–mostly little frames, etc. I have the thrift illness too so I have been cutting back on the number of trips I make in a month. 🙂

  3. You have one of those vehicles that brakes at the sign of a good deal.

I got out for a brief stop yesterday and it turned into a real treasure hunt. I found an item I desperately wanted to buy but it said it was one of a pair. I had no idea what the other piece looked like and spent an hour trying to solve the mysetery. After I gave up another person that had joined in the hunt (several of us were at it) did find part 2 before I left the thrift shop. I’ll post about it next week.

  4. It is an illness I have it also!! I am heading out today garage saling!! Hope to find some great treasures

  5. Wow, you found some great treasures! And if you must be sick…this is the best kind. LOL

  6. Those are awesome treasures. Thrifting is very addicting! I just love vintage and antiques. I just bought this sweet vintage chair at a yard sale today. I LOVE it! and I also found some of the blue mason jars for cheap at my antique shop in town. I hope to share pictures on my blog soon. 🙂

  7. Love all of your finds! I sooo understand the madness that comes with thrifting for the deal of the century!

  8. I would love for you to link it up to my party that is running now. Any linky goes.

    Come strut your stuff.
