Think Outside the Box {Table Top Chalkboard}

When you think of chalkboards you probably think of chalkboards hanging on the wall. Rectangle frames filled with fabulous chalkboard paint. Well sometimes we have to think outside the box.
I showed this table top metal frame a few months ago in a Thrifty Thursday post. It obviously once held a mirror and probably sat on top of a vanity table or dresser. The mirror is long gone and all that is left is this beautiful ornate frame.
So what’s a girl to do? Make a chalkboard of course, a magnetic chalkboard to be exact. If you want a tutorial on how I make my magnetic chalkboards, I laid it all out here. I painted the frame in Heirloom White to give it a good contrast with the chalkboard paint.
It would still look great sitting on a vanity or dresser……a fun way to display little love notes to your significant other or use magnets to pin up a few photos.
So whadaya think?
