Back to School {2×4} Apple

I love 2×4 projects! Not only are 2×4’s fairly cheap but it is so fun to take a plain average piece of wood and turn it into something fabulous! Plus it is usually easy to find some scrap pieces lying around, which is just what I did with this project.
Since my daughter started back to school today I thought I would celebrate with a little B2S project!
I had these 3 pieces of 2×4 leftovers laying around in the garage. They were all approximately the same size so there was no cutting or sanding needed. Doesn’t get much better than that!
I simply painted the 3 blocks red with craft paint and tied a satin brown ribbon around the blocks for the stem.
It doesn’t get a whole lot easier than that. I love my little 2×4 apple, it’s going to make a great addition to my back to school decor!
