Easy Kids Art Gallery & A Winner

In no time the kids will start bringing home there latest masterpiece that they have created at school. Stacks of construction paper will start to accumulate in corners of your house. If your like me then you eventually weed out the thousands of torn coloring book pages and try to hold on to the more thoughtful pieces of artwork.
But where to put them all? Store them away in a box? I had a big empty wall in my daughters room that I decided would make a great art gallery space. I didn’t want to get too complicated though.
This is how it started out, 6 screws in the wall connected by wire. Pretty simple huh? The only hard thing is making sure that all the screws are level and in line!
I obviously didn’t want to just leave it like that, exposed screws and all. I had a bunch of silk gerber dasies lying around that I wanted to use.
I simply hot glued the flowers onto the fronts of the screws.
All that was left to do was put up my daughter’s artwork. I used some clothespins to clip the artwork to the wire.
I added some cute pink and green polka dot ribbon to the fronts of clothespins to cute things up a bit.
I think it looks super cute in her garden room.
She is so proud of her artwork and I’m so glad we have a fun way to display it now! Off the counters and up on the wall! Over time we will put up the new stuff and I will keep the important and special pieces.
