The Royal Pumpkin

A few weeks back I was looking for some  Fall Inspiration and I found a beautiful picture on Pinterest of a white pumpkin with a sparkly tiara on top. This year I am really loving the neutral colors for Fall, it’s actually been a little bit of a struggle to decorate for Halloween when all I want is whites & creams. I thought about it and figured there had to be some way to recreate that look!
I picked up a large white pumpkin from Micheal’s on sale and thought I was going to craft with it, but I decided it would be a perfect pumpkin to recreate my inspiration!
I found the metal crown at a local craft store, it was a distressed copper mess but the price was right. So I took it home and gave it a coat of glossy black.
Since I have a stockpile of $1 store pumpkins (because you never know when you might need to grab a couple and paint or glitter them) it’s easy to grab a couple and add them when needed. I painted the obnoxious orange pumpkins Satin Almond by Krylon to go with the already white Michael’s pumpkin.

It may not be as sparkly as my inspiration photo….but I love my royal pumpkin just the same!!! White, black, and burlap!!! LOVE!!!
