Time to Shine {Features} No 34

I just couldn’t post anything yesterday. I could barely manage a Facebook post. It was such a sad day for me, as I know it is for so so many people. Some much much more than me! I am still unable to see that day as anything else other than devastating. It’s hard for me to speak about it, the words sometimes feel so empty and overused. As usual I immersed myself in documentaries and personal accounts of the day, to which my husband says “Do we have to do this every year?” as tears roll down my face. Yes, yes we do.
So enough of that. Today is a new day and we must make it a better and brighter day in honor of those that we have lost and those that we will loose in protection of our freedom.
How about some features that brighten and beautify our world????

Thanks y’all for all your fabulous link ups and for stopping by! The party starts again tomorrow and if you’ve been featured please feel free to grab a button…..

  1. Thanks for the feature! 🙂
I’m with you on 9-11. It feels too weird to do “normal” things. So I watched all the specials on abc and cried.
    Today is a new day.
    hugs, Jenny

  2. Thank you for the feature! I’m feeling incredibly blessed today as this is my third!! Thanks for such a great party =)

  3. Thank you very much for featuring my Halloween Candle blocks.

And I too know what you mean about 9.11. I lived in NYC for half my life and loved it, spent time in those buildings and had friends who worked there over the years and I just don’t know what to do with myself on that day every year. But I think your philosophy is spot on – honor the victims, acknowledge the horror and then dedicate yourself to making the next day bright and better.

  4. Hello…thank you so much for featuring our harp table!! We really appreciate it :-)) Julie
