September Make and Take Recap

Every month I host a craft make and take at my home. In September we made countdown blocks, I had the option to make Christmas blocks or Birthday blocks. We all got together, crafted, and ate yummy ice cream sundaes. Oh and I think some wine was involved too! We are in wine country after all!
Here are some of the ladies tracing, cutting, and painting away!
It’s so much fun to get together with these ladies and craft. I am usually crafting by myself, with my husband looking on with a confused stare. Now I get to craft with a bunch of ladies, looking at me with confused stares! Hee hee!
I love to see what others think of and create when all given the same basic items to work with! They all see the project differently and uniquely. And beautifully I might add!
I am actually really glad to do the countdown blocks because I got to make Christmas countdown blocks AND Birthday blocks for my kids! I hope that the ladies that attended the class enjoy the project as much as I do!
I’m preparing for my October class this weekend, I’ve got a couple projects planned for this month’s craft class! If you live on the California Central Coast and you’d like to attend a class please email me at

A BIG thanks to all the fabulous ladies that came out and I hope to see you all again at a class!!!

  3. It was a lot of fun (& I can’t believe that I’m writing that & that it’s true – I had fun crafting). The countdown is in use helping us get ready for Halloween 🙂 Thanks Courtney!

  4. Wow! Could you please post a tutorial on making these? They are so beautiful!!
