Thrifty Thursday #26

I have blogged about the Remnants of the Past Show and now I get to show you all the goodies that I picked up for myself!!! So often I find myself scouring thrift stores and picking up items for other people, to use in projects that I will sell. It’s always nice to shop for myself and my home.
There are things that just naturally catch my eye. Here are a couple!  I’m pretty obsessed with pitchers, all kinds really! I have several in my home; silver, ceramic, and metal. I picked up this cream ceramic pitcher for several bucks and I think it will be perfect to hold my old tarnished silverware.
This old rusty scale makes number 3 in my home…..yay another collection!!! I saw several of these throughout the show but this one had the best price and loads of character to boot! I guess old scales are a hot commodity because some of the prices I was seeing for these was crazy!
One vendor had these awesome initial blocks made out of old wood. I’m a sucker for initials! I’m thinking about doing a mini initial wall. Let the collecting begin!
Check out these little treasures I picked up! I think the skeleton key and old clock faces will be turned into some jewelry for myself! I don’t like super busy jewelry but I do like interesting and different pieces. These will make some pretty cool one of a kind necklaces!

Last but CERTAINLY NOT least…..check out this awesome dress form that I found! I’ve been wanting one and wishing for one for some time now. When I went to the show I expected that there may be some dress forms in the crowd but none in my price range! Of course I kept seeing price tag after price tag that gave me heart palpitations, until I found her.

She was up high on a rack and hidden behind a bunch of other stuff. I asked the booth owner how much she was and I was surprised when the price didn’t floor me! I thought about it for a few minutes and then I decided that I would hugely regret it if I didn’t take her home with me. I’ve got big plans for her….I think I need a name! Any suggestions?

Welp that’s all I got!
