Halloween Wrap Up

So Halloween snuck up on me this year! Heck I think it happens most years, as do most holidays! Before I know it I run out of time for projects, recipes, and crafts. So while I have a list of things I didn’t get to I’m trying to view it as an early start to my “to-do” list for next year.
I was pretty busy working on Halloween decorations for other people this year, I had to stop and remember to decorate our house too! I’m not really into the spooky side of Halloween and I don’t really go super crazy with it either. I save that for Christmas. So I like to add little touches of Halloween here and there.
I decorated our entry way with some pumpkins, a bird cage with a black bird, and a “BOO” pennant banner that I made last year. Again, I am keeping with the white, black, and orange color scheme.
I decorated my hutch too! The decor in and on the hutch is always evolving and changing with the seasons.
It’s where my paper mache “BOO” called home along with a whole bunch of pumpkins.
I also included a quote on one of my chalkboard platters, “Autumn: The years last loveliest smile”.
I printed out this super cute Halloween subway art  and frame it with a black frame I had on hand. I don’t find myself buying many Halloween decorations too often, actually I don’t find myself buying that many decorations period. However, I found these sparkly candy corns at Pier 1 Imports and decided that I had to have them! I think it was a good exception!
Of course there is my Halloween mantel as well! As you can see, I stuck to the same color scheme throughout and kept things pretty simple. I love how everything came out!!! I know I know….a bit behind the curve….what can I tell ya?
So what kind of Halloween do you like? Spooky? Vintage? Tricks? Or Treats?
