Thrifty Thursday #27

So there hasn’t been a ton of thrifting going on lately. Between craft shows and having some family fun time, there hasn’t been a lot of time for much else. Also, it seemed like even if I did have a few minutes to run into a thrift store I found myself coming out with nothing in hand. Sometimes I think the thrifting planets must align!
By the way, the picture above is my daughter at our trip to the local pumpkin farm! We had a blast and I’m so thankful we have such a fun place to visit! The kids fed the animals, we picked pumpkins, ate a yummy lunch, and went through the hay maze!!!
I totally scored in the picture frame department this past week! I found lots of fun sizes to work with and they have really pretty detailing. I’m thinking of trying some new things with them.
I also picked up a hodge podge of things. I found several metal trays of different sizes and shapes. I like to do several different things with metal trays and always like to keep a stock pile of them around. I also wanted to pick up some old paper back books for some projects I’m working on.
A couple wood items rounded out my thrifty finds. Overall it was a pretty good haul this week. I’m trying not to bring home anything too big right now until I can get the garage cleaned out a bit. We have a path carved out through it that we can walk through….other than that it’s a total crazy place!!!
Linking up to these great link parties!!!

  4. Hi, Courtney, thank you for sharing your thrift store finds! I recently scored one of those calendar holders for .50 (I think they came from Hallmark originally), it’s the brown tray looking thing in the pic with all your pretty frames. I’m curious to see how you make it fabulous! I’m a new follower, so I’ll be on the lookout for it.
