Christmas Home Decor {Finishing Touches}

Today I’ve showed you my Burlap & Bows Christmas Tree and my Red & Green Christmas Mantel! Also, don’t forget to check out my Framed Christmas Wreath. Now it’s time to just show off the final touches around my home.
I don’t feel that I go uber nuts at Christmas time. I LOVE decorating for Christmas, I just don’t cover every inch of my house in red and green. I decorated my Sheet Music Table with a few fun items.
I ordered some Christmas tree word vinyl from GroopDealz. All I had to do was pop some scrapbook paper into a black frame and slap on the vinyl. Super easy project and I love how it turned out!
I filled at thrift store found wood container with trimmings from our Christmas tree and leftover ball ornaments.  Again, so simple yet beautiful.
I popped two red pillar candle on top of my Wooden Leg Candle Holders and called this table done!
I also decked out my hutch with lots of red and green.
I wanted to keep things simple and clean but festive.
There is just something about a poinsettia that makes it a holiday must! I placed it into a red metal sleigh and put it on top of my hutch.
I keep a few chalkboards around the house for just this reason! It’s so fun to incorporate them into your holiday decor. And just in case you need to capture that “kodak” moment, a vintage camera is standing by. I don’t think this camera is actually capable of taking any real pictures but I just love having them around for fun accents.
I have used this cream pitcher in my decor time and time again. This go around I just popped some deep red  hydrangeas into it.
I wanted to add something Christmasy with my wonderful chippy birdcage. When I found this distressed white “Merry Christmas” decoration I knew it would go perfectly. It all looks great in my living room!
I moved my Christmas wreath that I made last year in the house and hung it up on my wreath stand. It’s hanging out under my pressed tin shelf on my crib bench.
Lastly is the decorated pressed tin shelf and my “JOY” banner that I made at my Elmer’s party
So there is the bulk of this years Christmas decor! It’s all come together nicely even though I never seem to do everything on my crafty “to-do” list! Hopefully you have enjoyed the tour of my Holiday Home and maybe you have even been inspired a little! Let me know what you think!!! : )
Linking up to these great link parties!!!

  1. your hutch is my favorite! i love the bright red against the white! it all looks lovely!

  2. This is just gorgeous! The white is the perfect background for all your red and green. Beautiful!

  3. Love all of your Christmas touches…Merry Christmas. Tiff

  4. All looks so beautiful and perfect for Christmas. Great job and Merry Christmas.

  5. Where did you find that pretty frame? I have a lot of scrapbook art that I would love to hang, and all that I’ve seen in a 12×12″ size is record album frames (which are kind of boring and surprisingly more expensive then I would have guessed). Thanks!

  7. Can you tell me what font you used with the Christmas tree vinyl? Thanks!

  8. Did you put modge podge onto the out side of the glass so the vinylwouldn’t move and stay in place?

    • No, the vinyl has a sticky backside and will stick to the glass without any other help. You don’t want to put mod podge over vinyl because, over time, it will damage the vinyl. Hope that helps!
