Time to Shine {Party} No 62

I attended my first crafting conference this past weekend. This is the first year for Craftcation, so I didn’t really know what to expect. The classes looked awesome but was it really going to be what I was hoping it would be?
Once I arrived in Ventura, Ca. I checked into the conference and into my hotel room. I immediately poked my head out onto the balcony and checked out my view. Nice right? Then I reveled in the fact that I was in a room all by myself. Peace. Quiet. So far the weekend was off to a good start! Now it was time to get the classes started!

So the classes were amazing! I took a beginning sewing class, which means I might ACTUALLY learn how to use my machine! I also took  “How to start your craft business” which covered a lot of the legal side to starting a business, “Do’s and dont’s of booth presentation”, “10 common blog photography problems & how to fix them”, “How to craft a blog that pops”, and more. It was awesome!
I honestly was sad to leave the conference, even though I was so happy to get home to my family! It was so nice to be surrounded by creatives and people that “got” me in a way. It was nice to hear things like “Don’t under value your products” and “your time is worth something, don’t undersell yourself”.
It was very encouraging and inspiring!

So now I’d like to gain some more inspiration from all of you!!!! Please link up what all you’ve been up to this week…….
