Time to Shine {Features} No 64

I’m feeling a little sad today. A little low. The hubs left today for 3 1/2 weeks for TDY (For those non-military readers: Temporary Duty). It could of course be worse; it could be longer and to a scarier place. However, I always miss him no matter how long he’s gone. So here’s to being a single mother for a few weeks : )

So to take my mind off my husbandless status…..I’m going to focus on some fabulous features from last weeks Time to Shine………

I love peonies so I totally need to make these fabric ones from Twigg Studios.
Turtles and Tails made these super yummy looking mini Oreo Dirt Cakes & Cherry Cheesecakes.
Sheet Moss Banner WM
Moss + banner = awesome! Love this from A Little Something in the Meantime.
I’ve recently made a couple projects using burlap sacks so this burlap sack pillow from Shabby Love really stood out to me.
This birdcage wreath from Daisy Mae Belle is simply adorable!
There was a tie for the most viewed link ups this week…….
This soap dispenser makeover from Silo Hill Farm.

And this post about yard sale season from Today is my Someday.
Thank you to everyone for linking up all your fabulousness! If you’ve been featured please feel free to grab a button in my sidebar.

  2. Courtney,

I can’t say I know what it feels like to have a loved one in the military, or to have them away from home, but I am sending you a big cyber hug and lots of prayers and thanks for the sacrifice that your entire family makes on behalf of all of us. Thank you. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be.

  8. Oh Man, I’m sorry you are sad. Thank you so much for your families service! Don’t be down you are on Wife-Cation 🙂 http://www.mommyiscoocoo.com/2011/09/wife-cation.html

  9. I’m also grateful to the men and woman who are helping to keep American safe. I’m glad he isn’t anywhere scary. I had a female friend that was in and out of Bagdad for 4 years and now she’s stateside and done with her duty. She was in her early 30’s and the war had just started. I was telling her you can’t sign up, there is a war out there. Well she did and survived. Thank God!

God Bless You and your Family. Katharine

  10. I really appreciate what your husband is doing to help keep America safe and free. I hope the time will fly by and you will find something intriguing to occupy your mind. Thanks for hosting the link parties.
