Time to Shine {Party} 71

Over the weekend I posted my Patriotic Pinwheels over at Crafts Unleashed. Come take a look and see how I made them!

So the holiday weekend didn’t quite turn out the way I thought it would! I’ve thrown out my back once before, but this is far worse. I guess the good news is, I got some good drugs. However these drugs make me sleep. Like literally slept all day yesterday. I basically only woke up to eat and take more drugs.
Sigh. This is not the best thing to happen to this mom and DIYer. So please bare with me this week!!!

  1. Courtney,

I feel for you. I pulled my back out for the first time last fall and it was awful. I had never felt pain like that and all I could do is what you are doing, take the pain meds and lay there. Are you able to take muscle relaxers? I am allergic, but if you can take them, talk to your doctor to see if they might help. They will make you more sleepy, but might help it to go away faster.

In any case, I am praying for your quick recovery. Hang in there and don’t push yourself too fast.

  2. I’m sure you’ve probably gotten a ton of advice for your back but I’m gonna through my two cents in the rink and suggest you go to a chiropractor. I’ve had a bad back for years and there was a time I threw my back out from brushing my teeth … Went to a chiropractor and that night I was standing straight again. Granted it took a couple of visits to go me all back to normal but I feltboh so much better (and itch out drugs)! Hope you’re feeling better soon!!!
