Time to Shine {Party} No 83

One of our “Back to School” traditions is to have a special dessert after the first day of school. It’s always a fun way to end the first day of school and a great way to watch my kiddos grow. I can’t believe looking back at these pictures how much my little girl has grown!
I decided to decorate the cakes with the grade that she is going into, using candies. As you can see by the photos, she is always very proud! What Back to School traditions do you do with your kids???

I wish we could share a slice of cake with you, but for now a party will have to do!!!

  1. This is so great, this tradition you have. It’s a pitty my children are grown..otherwise I would do this also. My post for you in your party is the tiny little doll my daughter made. It’s just very small…to see more of the pictures, visit my blog.

  3. Such a fun tradition! We dont have kids yet, but I will totally be keeping this in mind for when we do 🙂 I knew it was the first day of school in our neighborhood last week when I was driving to work because I saw no less than 20 parents outside their houses taking pictures of their kids all dressed up! So fun! Off to check out some great links 🙂
