Orange Burlap {BOO} Banner

Can you believe Halloween is only a couple weeks away? For some reason my brain still thinks it’s August. Why? I have no idea, but every time I go to write the date I automatically think: August. So maybe surrounding myself in everything orange, black, and Halloween will help get my brain caught up?!? I am always a sucker for a good pennant banner so I decided to whip up my Orange Burlap BOO Banner.
It all started with this fabulous orange burlap that I found at Hobby Lobby. I decided to use a chipboard pennant shape as my template to cut out my banner pieces. In the past I have just free handed it but I thought this may make the process go a little faster.
I used some chipboard letters to spell out my “BOO”. Of course I wanted them to be sparkly, so I used some Mod Podge to add some black glitter to my letters.
I had trouble deciding what to use to “string” the banner all together. I finally decided to use some black and white twine that I had in my stash. Using some hot glue I attached the twine to the back of the burlap pieces.
I just love my BOO Banner and it looks so cute hung above my Burlap Pumpkins!!! Don’t ya think???
