I am currently up to my eyeballs in Mod Podge, sawdust, wood, chalkboard paint, and spray paint! I am getting ready for my FIRST CRAFT FAIR on Friday! 4 days and counting!!! I am super excited and really nervous to get everything done. I will be posting about all my projects here pretty soon, when I can actually get pictures and some time to post!
Function and Fashion

For now….here is my corkboard makeover I did a couple months ago. The board hangs over my scrapbooking area and was lacking in the pretty department. I like to have pretty things around me when I am crafting and if that pretty thing can perform a function it’s even better! Here is the corkboard before:
Just your average corkboard! The first thing I did was prime and paint the “frame” part of the board. I then found this black and white damask fabric that I fell in love with!!! I used some spray adhesive to attach the fabric right to the cork. I finished it off with some decorative ribbon around the edges to cover any imperfections with the scissors cutting job (It couldn’t possibly be operators error). And here is the finished product:
I think most of us have one of these laying around, so go grab yours and pretty it up! Hope you enjoyed and hopefully I’ll be posting some craft fair projects soon!!!

I love this, great transformation! I am all over anything black and white!
So classic… what a transformation!
Isn’t it amazing what a little pain & fabric can do? I re-did my cork board the other day too. {great minds think alike}. But now, I’m liking yours better.. humm =)
