I usually use a large plastic spoon from my kitchen to mix it all up. You just mix everything up and it’s ready to use!

I have been wanting to make my own detergent for quite sometime just been too afraid to try it. So you pour the whole box of washing soda, borax etc. into the bucket?
How did you mix it with it being in a bucket with the trash bag and not rip the bag?

Hi Tara, it will depend on where you are able to buy the supplies. I think you can get all the supplies for around $35, maybe even less. It will depend on how much laundry you do on how long the batch lasts. We are a family of 4 with a fair amount of laundry and my last batch lasted 6 months!
