So you pour the whole box of washing soda, borax etc. into the bucket?
How did you mix it with it being in a bucket with the trash bag and not rip the bag?

I think you can get all the supplies for around $35, maybe even less. It will depend on how much laundry you do on how long the batch lasts. We are a family of 4 with a fair amount of laundry and my last batch lasted 6 months!
