A lot of you know my husband deployed a little over 6 months ago and I am happy to say that he is finally home!!!

Friday was the big day and I am so happy to finally have him home! It’s still pretty surreal really! I want to send a HUGE thank you to all my readers who sent the NICEST and most supportive messages and emails along the way!

Now it’s time to get our MOVE on!!! In a few weeks we will be headed to Louisiana!!!

Well yesterday I signed all the closing documents to our very first home purchase!!!

I was so in hopes that my hubby would be home for the closing but it didn’t work out that way. Which really didn’t make a whole lot of difference except I got a hand cramp for having to sign for both of us about 100 times over! But it’s done and the house is ours!!! How exciting is that??? I am instantly flooded with tons and tons of upcoming projects and posts!!!

Happy Monday!!!

How was everyone’s weekend? I have been busy working towards moving later this month and my hubby coming home. I can’t say when exactly that is…but it’s very soon! Eek! We are all so excited. I’m trying to keep on task though….I have a laundry list of things to do before he gets home!

I am having trouble believing that 6 months is practically up!!!

I posted this little nugget on my personal facebook page yesterday…but I really thought I should share it with all my crafters!

If you are selling your crafts, please keep this in mind when pricing your items!!! All too often people think “Well anybody could make this so I’m not going to ask very much for it.”. Don’t do that. If someone looks at your items and thinks “I could make that for cheaper”, they are not your customer. Your customer will appreciate your work, time, and love that you put into an item and cherish it as much as you the maker does.

On Saturday I had my big liquidation sale in my home. Man it was nuts.

The sale started at 9am and there was a line of ladies outside my door before then. Once 9am hit the ladies poured into my home and started grabbing items. It went like this for a good couple of hours. Then things calmed down and there was a constant stream of a few people here and there throughout the day. At the end of the day it was a HUGE success!!! I got to see some smiling faces, lighten our load quite a bit, and make a little moola too.

I really do love selling the things that I make. It makes me happy when someone falls in love with something that I have created. It’s all a pretty awesome feeling!!! So THANK YOU to those that came out and supported me!!!
