I am personally a big fan of fun wreaths. I love having a “traditional” seasonal wreath on my front door but the wreaths I like to put out are usually less than traditional. I love my Christmas wreath but I wanted to move that one inside for my standing wreath hanger. So that meant I needed a new wreath on my door and well lets face it, I never need an excuse for a project!

I was inspired by the wreath from Blue Cricket Design. When I saw the frame she used I knew I had one just like it sitting in my garage. And so the wheels started turning.

 

I wanted the frame to really pop off my door so I painted the frame a bright Christmas red! What else?

The ornaments came from Michael’s and I got two different sizes. I kept the color scheme simple; red, green, and white. I used fun polka dot ribbon to attach the ornaments to the frame. Then I finished everything off with a satin green bow.

I absolutely LOVE it! It’s fun an funky but so festive and Christmasy too!

Time is speeding quickly towards Christmas and it’s time to try and squeeze in my last projects of the season! Can’t believe how quickly the holiday season has flown by!!!
