Great idea. Love the colors of the frames too. You’re so organized. I need to get with it too since school starts Monday. I’m still trying to get my 4th of July decor put away. I’m a little behind.
Great idea! I love the look of it.
Fun! I want to do something like this and I scoured the dollar store too!
That looks great. Love the colors and the neat polished look of it all. My fridge is pretty blah at the moment – might have to do something similar.
That is such a fun idea! I love it!
I love this idea. I need to give it a try. It looks so organized. I can’t wait to try it.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice and organized! Most people have their pictures all willy nilly on the fridge and it looks messy! Yours looks perfectly planned! Great job!

This is a great idea. I’m curious what you keep in the baskets on top of your cupboards?
THank you for sharing. I am curious what you keep in the baskets on top of your cupboards? Please advise.
Hi Heather! I have party supplies like paper plates, plastic cups, and forks store in the burlap bins. You can read about the post here: http://adiamondinthestuff.blogspot.com/2011/02/burlap-bins-kitchen-storage.html

I was just going to ask about those baskets as well! I noticed those before the organized fridge 😉 I’m so glad someone else already asked. What a great idea!! Love this!

Just came across this blog on pinterest. I love the fridge and cabinet space. I was wondering where you got the baskets for over the cabinets? What you put in them? Thanks!
I made the baskets and blogged about how I did it here: http://adiamondinthestuff.blogspot.com/2011/02/burlap-bins-kitchen-storage.html
I store my party supplies up there like my paper plates, plastic cups, etc.
LOVE THIS!
What a great idea!
I’ll have to use this idea. I’m curious, what’s inside of the baskets?
This is definately an idea that I’ll be using. I’m curious though, what’s inside of the baskets?
Hi Ms Leah, here is the link about my burlap storage boxes: http://adiamondinthestuff.blogspot.com/2011/02/burlap-bins-kitchen-storage.html
What magnets did you use? Looks great! Thank you for sharing!
Just the large round ones that you can find in craft stores.
I think the large frame to put those monthly or weekly school newsletters would be great.
I absolutely LOVE this idea! I’m obsessed with calendars and I have one on my fridge so this is a nice alternative to make it look cuter. I also would never think to put my fridge pix in a frame. How awesome!

Where did u or hw did u make the calendar?
Here is the post about the calendar that I made: http://adiamondinthestuff.blogspot.com/2010/10/perpetual-calendar-for-your-fridge.html
Really like what you did on the fridge. I’m going to do that too. I have so many pictures of my grandkids that I can display this way. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love this! I will be doing this to my fridge here shortly… the calender portion where did you get that. is it one of those big dry erase ones you can get at walmart?
Great idea! Also, I like the baskets on top of your cabinets…I have so much wasted space up there. DUH, why didn’t I think to add baskets!
Love this and will be scouring the dollar store TODAY.
What type of paint did you use? How is it holding up?
I LOVE THIS! Saw on pintrest; next on my project list. My fridge is black and by kitchen is red walls/black countertops/white cabinets. Can’t wait!
What are in the baskets on top of the cabinets? Thanks!
what a terrific idea! did you take the glass out of the picture frames or leave it in before putting the frame on the fridge? thanks!
LOVE the yellow! I’ve never thought of doing a gallery on the fridge–brilliant! I found you on the CSI Organization link-up. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your project!
~Abby =)
How fun! What a great way to decorate your fridge, totally cute and completely useful! Thanks so much for sharing this at The CSI Project!
LOVE This idea!!! Thanks for sharing!
That looks great! I really don’t like clutter on my fridge but I do like having pictures and a calendar up – this is a perfect solution!
I tried this no luck. Must need stronger/larger magnets
What kind of magnets did you use? I used the large flat round ones and I used a few on each frame, especially the larger frames.
Absolutely LOVE it!!!!
Can I ask where you got the calendar?
I created the calendar using a printable. You can see the post about it here: http://adiamondinthestuff.com/2010/10/perpetual-calendar-for-your-fridge.html
Did you leave the glass in? How do you write on the calendar?
Yes I left the glass in the frame, I write on the glass and wipe it right off.
Wow! I love your organizing ideas! So cute! I also noticed the numbered baskets above the cupboards. Great idea.
Thank so much Amy!
I have a side by side , so I thought I would get matching Dry eraser boards , one calendar and one smaller one and hang it vertically on the “other side ” with the menu for the week .. Thanks so much for the inspiration !
Brilliant idea. I love pictures and never have enough wall space to display. This is like a bonus spot! Just wondering, did you use spray paint or regular paint. I sometimes use spray paint for projects but have never used on frames. Already found my frames. Can’t wait to start. Oh and regular old Elmer’s glue? I’m off to the craft store as soon as I hear from you!
I used spray paint and hot glue for the magnets! Have fun!
Please help. Where did you buy the magnets? I tried Home Depot and Michaels and they had small magnets but the lady said they were super strong. I also used industrial strength glue to glue the magnets but they don’t stay on the frig. They keep sliding down. I thought it was because some of the frames were heavy 8 by 10 and so I thought that was the problem but then I went back and saw you had different sizes. I spray painted all the frames and I’m so frustrated they don’t stay up. I didn’t use a glue gun. Don’t know if that’s it. But before I go buying a glue gun I wanted to ask you. Maybe I need to let the glue dry overnight. I don’t know.
Hi there Anne. I bought my magnets at Michael’s You can see the kind that I used in this post: http://adiamondinthestuff.com/2011/01/personal-art-gallery.html
Also in that post you can see that I was using much larger (and heavier) frames to put up on a metal sheet. I had to use quite a few magnets on the really heavy frames to get them to hold. Also, if using heavier frames I would stick with something like E6000 glue or Gorilla glue. I used hot glue on the really light weight frames for the fridge.
I hope some of that helps!!! Good luck!
Thank you! I got the same magnets at Michaels. But I guess I will use more. I just used 4 on the 8 by 10. And I used the E6000 but I will try the gorilla glue. I’ll try again. You know how you just start something and want to finish it? Well that’s me. I just want this project done. Thx again!
