Crockpot Wassail

I live on the California central coast. It is foggy, chilly, and dreary most of the year. We may get a few nice weeks in the summer where it gets into the 70’s maybe even 80 degrees! Then it starts to cool down again. So around here it’s always warm drink weather. However Fall is the perfect time to make up a batch of Crockpot Wassail!
Here is the recipe that I use:
-2 quarts of Apple Cider
-2 cups of Pineapple Juice
-3oz of frozen OJ concentrate
-4 Cinnamon Sticks
-14 Whole Cloves
I mix up all the ingredients in my crockpot and let it simmer on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. Make sure to stir everything up before serving. You will want to serve it hot and with a ladle for your guests to easily scoop out some of this yummy drink!

This is the perfect beverage to make while you curl up with a good book! Oh and if you want to make a round of these just for the adults you can add some brandy to the recipe!

I made this recipe over the weekend when it was foggy and cold, of course as I’m sitting her writing this post it’s one of the hottest days that we’ve had this year! Crazy California weather!!!

Linking up to these great link parties!!!
