While perusing the $1 store the other day I came upon some soap roses in the Valentine area. I thought the little rose buds were cute but what would I do with them? I figured at $1 they were a lot cheaper than silk rose buds and I could certainly find something to do with them!
I grabbed a few flower pots from my stash and decided to make little topiaries. I pulled out some of my DecoArt Patio Paint and got to painting.
I added some small styrofoam balls into the pots to hold the flowers.
Then I used my glue gun to attach the flowers to the styrofoam ball.
I just kept going until most of the styrofoam was covered, a few little parts show but it’s all white so it’s not really noticeable.
Tied a little ribbon around each flower pot and there you have it! Three cute little Valentine topiaries!
I only spent $4 on the flowers and everything else came from my stash! The best part is the flowers smell good because they are scented soap! Yummy vanilla!
Linking up to these great link parties!!!
