{Patriotic} Rag Wreath & {Cheap} Wreath Form

With the 4th of July approaching quickly I decided I better get off my….well you know….and get my patriotic projects going! Since the month of May basically disappeared on me I’m a little behind! I wanted to add a patriotic wreath to my wreath hanger in the house.

I decided on a rag wreath!

Instead of buying a pricey wreath form, I headed to Home Depot and bought some pipe insulation. It’s $.97 for a long piece of it (you could get 2 or 3 wreaths out of it depending on how big you made them). I cut a piece of the foam to the size I wanted and used a piece of Gorilla tape to secure the ends together.

I primered the whole thing just in case any of the foam showed through. For an example of how I rip the fabric for the wreath see here . I used 5 different fabrics total.
I love that it’s like a firecracker going off. Red, white, and blue everywhere!

It’s simple, fun, and you can’t get a better price!
