My {Burlap & Bows} Christmas Tree

Today I’m taking you on a Holiday Home Tour of my home. Throughout the day I will be posting about different areas and Christmas decorations in my home. First up is my Christmas tree!
I have an absolute ton of Christmas ornaments ranging from my childhood through adulthood. It’s a total hodge podge of ornaments that spark tons of memories for me. The past couple of year I have been worried to put them all up with my very rambunctious son running around. So this year I decided to take a different approach and to try something new!
So I started out with a real Noble Fur tree….I am so in love with them! I wanted to go with a natural and vintage feel. I found some really awesome burlap ribbon that I knew needed to be used someway, somehow. I also found some “Happy Holidays” and sheet music ribbon as well that I loved.
I tied a big bow for the top of the tree with the “Happy Holidays” ribbon. There was quite a bit of left over ribbon so I cut strips and placed them throughout the tree. I then attached the other ribbons to the tree and draped them across the tree, making bows along the way.  I kept the ornaments minimal and simple, sticking with a variety of silver and sparkly ones!
I made my hubby drag in this old metal bucket that I had outside in my garden. I put the tree inside of the metal bucket instead of using a tree skirt. I absolutely love it and the rustic feel it adds to the tree.
So what do you think of my tree???
