Framed {Love} Letters

Love.
It’s all you need, right? Well maybe it’s not that simple! But this time of year it’s definitely on a lot of peoples minds. I’ve made several “framed” words in the past. In my home I have all four seasons framed and I’ve had fun framing words for the holidays. So I couldn’t leave Valentine’s Day out of of the mix!!!
I gathered up a bunch of small picture frame. I sort of have a stockpile of them, some from the dollar store and some from the dollar bins at Michael’s. Some were the perfect color and some I needed to give a new paint job.
It’s a lot of fun to go through all of my scrapbook paper and picks the ones I want to use. I don’t like to be to literal with the papers I use. For example, just because I’m doing the word “Love” doesn’t mean I want to use paper with hearts and all on it. I like to stick with certain colors that correspond to a holiday and run with that, picking papers that have fun patterns within those colors.
I played with the colors. I did some with bold red and black, keeping it classic and romantic. One with pink and black, keeping it sweet. And one red and black, keeping it fun and funky with polka dots.
I used my Cricut to cut out all of the letters with black cardstock. I mixed up the fonts and sizes on each set.
It’s hard to pick my favorite set!!! I love them all. The possibilities are endless!!!
