So my Spring cold turned out to be strep throat! Blah. So lots of rest and some antibiotics later, I am feeling a little less like a pile of manure.
This week I only have one thing to show you….although it’s a pretty awesome one this! Check out this four poster bed!!!
Isn’t it a beauty? I had been planning to buy a guest bed when we move in a few months, although I figured that it would have to be something that whipped up to avoid spending too much money. I wasn’t expecting to find such a great deal on such a beautiful piece! It took some deciding on my part but priced at just $50 I had to grab it up! Part of the bed has been stripped and the other has not, I will have to decide what I want to do to it.

I’ve been looking for a bed for my guest room as well, and since this one is absolutely fabulous, I definitely would have snatched it up as well! Personally, I would strip it down to wood and stain it. Wood is timeless and lovely

OH boy would I have grabbed it up, the bed is so nice. Lucky you. I passed up a real cute single bed at thrift store few weeks ago for $20 and could kick myself. I’d have left the mattress and just taken the headboard/footboard but they wouldn’t let it go that way. It was so cute to make a bench with but I didn’t have the money. Ah well better luck next time.
Beautiful,I would Strip the other half and stain.The wood that has been striped looks good.Don’t use a dark stain.Good luck with it what ever you do.
