Decorated {BOO} Letters

Over the past several months I have done a few paper mache word projects. I made some XOXO letters for Valentines Day and I made a HOP version in the Spring. It’s been a few months so I was thinking it was time to make a Halloween version!
I used the brown paper mache letters from Hobby Lobby. I decided on “BOO” because I seem to really like things in 3’s and I just think “BOO” is so cute for Halloween! I painted the blank letters white and decoupaged scrapbook paper to the fronts of them.
Once the paint and paper was on, it was time to add some establishments (aka: the fun part)! I added buttons, a flower, and lots of fun ribbon in coordinated colors.

I love how they turned out, so festive! I’m not big into the SPOOKINESS, but I do like Halloween decorations! I just keep mine more “subtle” and I focus on a palate of black, white, and orange.

I really like using typography in my decor. I think that letters and numbers add a fun element of interest to any decor! So why not grab some letters and add your own touch to them!!! Doing this project actually inspired me to do another word using these paper mache letters…..why can’t I have a Hobby Lobby near by? WHY?????
