Courtney- that is such a cute idea I love it.
What a thoughtful and lovely gift idea! I think adding the photos of your adorable (no you aren’t biased, they really are that cute!) children makes it so special. I am sure your MIL will love this!
This is so great! It’s hard to get something for my MIL. This is perfect. Thank you for saving the day!!!
She will LOVE this! What a gift to cherish for years to come!
This a great idea! Especially for a Mom who loves to garden. I love how this project brings something personal to the table. Thanks for sharing. Love from Whimsically Homemade!
Who would have known that you can put pictures on a flower pot?! Great job!
What a super cute idea and so very clever! I have never (ashamed to admit it) used Mod Podge:( I have got to try something like this. Just hopping over to invite you to link up to my first ever blog hop. Here’s hoping to see your there.

do you print the pictures on photo paper or regular white paper?
It looks like you used regular printer paper. Did you try using photo paper and found it didn’t work as well? Love this!!! Going to make two!!
I did use regular printer paper. I choose not to use photo paper because I was afraid there may be some issues. The photos on printer paper worked wonderfully!
I tried to use regular photographs but that didn’t work. They wouldn’t stay on – I guess maybe too thick of paper? I’ll try and use regular printer paper and hope that works. Thanks!
Do u attach the ribbon with mod podge as well? And do u spray with acrylic before or after u attach ribbon?
I used hot glue to attach the ribbon. I applied the ribbon after I sprayed the acrylic.
I used the gloss mod podge. Do you think the flower pot will stay sealed if it is used outside?
I honestly don’t know. I usually use the outdoor if it’s something that will come into contact with water/moisture a lot. Can you put it somewhere where it won’t be exposed to rain/water as much?
Did u use color or black an white photos?
I used black and white. But you can use whatever suits you!
Did you use photo paper or regular computerus paper
I just used regular computer paper. Hope that helps!!!
my ribbon is rippling when I hot glued it to my flower pot because of the pot being slanted. Did you have this problem, and if so what did you do to fix that?
WILL you PLEASE send me the directions on how too make this for my mom. I am handicapped and I will be able too afford too make this. I really want too give my mom a present! Please. Send it too me! Thank you Kelly
