Over the weekend I was working on some 4th of July projects. Up to recently I had never made subway art on my own. I don’t have a silhouette and it just seemed all too time consuming! Until….I found a awesome cartridge for my Cricut called Word Collage. So I decided to give it a spin and make some 4th of July Subway Art.
I had my hubby cut a 1×12 board into a 15in piece. I painted the board a cherry red and did just a little distressing.
For the vinyl I decided to give white contact paper a try. I have heard of others using it with no problem, but I was always skeptical. I have to say, it worked great!!! You can buy a huge roll of it for a couple bucks, how awesome is that?
I absolutely love my 4th of July Subway Art!!!
