If you’ve been following along with me for awhile, you may have noticed that I’m digging the fence board signs that I’ve been making. I have made several starting with a General Store one last year. It’s been so fun to make different ones for all the different holidays along the way. Now it’s time for a Happy Halloween Fence Sign.
I painted the picket fence board black first, then used some vinyl lettering that I cut out with my Cricut to place over the painted board. Then I painted over the vinyl letters with a pumpkin orange paint. I did a couple thin coats of the orange paint, making sure that the black paint didn’t get fully covered. I liked that it looked so worn and spooky with a little bit of the black paint showing through.
I did a little sanding on the edges to further the “worn” look. Then it was time to add a clear coat and some hangers to the back. This Happy Halloween Fence Sign is now ready to hang!!!
Linking up to these great link parties!!!

So cute! Love that it is on a fence picket! I’m going to have to pick some of these up for future crafting!
