So even though I’m kind of boycotting Valentine’s Day this year (with no hubby here to celebrate with), I am still in the mood for a little love day crafting!!! So I started to look around at what was at my disposal and found some paper mache letters left over from a couple years ago. I decided that some Valentine’s Day Glitter XOXO were a must!!!
At Christmas I made some Glitter Paper Mache JOY letters. I absolutely loved them!! So much that I thought I needed a set of glitter letters for Valentine’s Day. I started with some plain ole paper mache letters.
First things first. I grabbed some red craft paint and gave the paper mache letters a couple coats.
Once the paint was dry, I added Mod Podge to the fronts of all of the letters…..
Then I added some sparkly red glitter on top of the Mod Podge. I shook off any excess glitter and let the letters dry.
Once the Mod Podge was dry I took the letters outside, shook off any last bits of loose glitter, and hit them with a couple coats of clear spray paint. Not only does it seal the glitter it, but gives the craft paint some shine and protection.
Aren’t they glitter-tastic???
Some holidays just scream GLITTER!!! Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays for sure! I hope you enjoyed my Valentine’s Day Glitter XOXO!!!

I love glitter. And glitter plus Valentine’s Day decor is a favorite. This is so cute!
I love the way they turned out, but glitter gives me so much anxiety. It’s sad, I know. Thanks so much for sharing at the par-tay friend. HUGS!!
