I started ripping and tearing the fabric into strips. This took some time and made quite a stringy mess all over my floor. I made each strip about an inch wide and about 6in long.
I started out tying some of the strips of fabric, mapping out where I wanted all the different fabrics to go. It was at this point that I realized that this project was going to take me awhile. As I tied and tied I became unsure as to how this project would turn out.
Once I had the entire piece of chicken wire filled with red, white, and blue fabric I realized it was totally worth it.
There she is in all her glory hanging on my front door. Obviously not your traditional wreath by any means, but it is hanging on my door!
The chicken wire easily hooks right onto the wreath hanger on my door. It makes me so happy just looking at it!!!
Here is my little porch all ready for independence day!!!
